Reiki

Reiki is an ancient healing art which has been used for centuries to help generate healing for the mind, body, and spirit. Reiki (pronounced, “ray-kee”) is a Japanese word which means Universal Life Force Energy. In practice, Reiki is a gentle and deeply relaxing hands-on technique which provides multiple benefits.

Reiki helps to balance the energy system and energy centers in the body by bringing in a fresh "universal life energy" (Rei) to restore our personal life force energy (Ki.) In a typical Reiki session, the practitioner becomes the channel for the universal energy. It comes in through the top of the head (the crown chakra) down to the heart and out the arms and hands to meet with your life force energy. This is done through a series of gentle hand positions on the body. By clearing and balancing the energy system, all of the other systems in the body are then better equipped to function in their highest fashion, as they were naturally designed to do. Reiki has the innate healing capacity to stimulates our natural flow of energy physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally, helping to create a clear pathway for optimum health and well-being.

Reiki is a safe and recognized holistic method for aiding in the treatment of chronic or acute physical health conditions, mental/emotional states, and life transitions and imbalances.
